Coaching is the term we use to cover a broad variety of supportive functions, including career consultancy and outplacement support for those facing redundancy or thinking of moving roles. For every candidate, we offer focused one-on-one coaching sessions. These are particularly important for junior candidates with fairly limited experience. We work with them to establish their strengths, advantages and career focus before helping them to strengthen their CVs and interview skills: how they should approach the legal market, and what essential preparations they must do. For more experienced candidates - those looking to move roles or, for many in these challenging times, facing redundancy - we offer the same level of personal and objective focus - assessing their market opportunities, unique transferable skills, and advising on strategic development. Because candidates are individuals - and not time slots or commodities - we firmly believe in working with candidates until we feel they are completely prepared for market.
