2023 marks Totum’s 20th anniversary – and a journey that has taken us from a recruitment business of just four people to 30 today. We are so proud of our expanding business: we always targeted financial success but wanted to do so in a responsible way, looking after our fantastic colleagues who have joined us along the way and giving back to our community via initiatives like our Totum Foundation.

But as we celebrate our 20th birthday, we are particularly keen to give a shout out to our wonderful team, who have not only helped us achieve our business success today but have made the journey a pleasure. It has been an honour to work with such talented people all these years.

We also want to take this opportunity to highlight the success of those who have been promoted this year. Our business expansion has led to more opportunities for career progression, and we are quick to open doors to those who consistently perform at their best. The following details just a few of these achievements:

  • Laura McNair, who leads our People & Operations practice, and Martyn Draper, head of our Finance practice, have both been made up to Directors. This reflects their huge contribution to the business over recent years, both financially and in terms of their team leadership. We’re delighted to see them both step up and know that they will play a key role in taking Totum to the next level.

  • We have also been delighted to promote Georgia Cooke (Legal Operations & Transformation) and Dee Deol (Finance) to Managers. Both have excelled in their recruitment roles – going out of their way to support clients as well as colleagues across the business and consistently exceeding expectations, often sourcing business services talent for new and emerging roles across the sector.

  • Allena Stanford has also been promoted to Marketing Executive, in recognition of her hard work, can-do attitude and success across many new areas of responsibility. With Allena onside, Totum’s marketing team will continue to go from strength to strength.

All are fantastic ambassadors for Totum who make up part of a team whose market reputation is second to none.
