We are currently working on a retained basis with a leading commercial law firm to recruit a Business Development & Marketing Director. It is a fantastic board level appointment in a firm which has been through significant change over the last few years and has continued growth plans.

The role would suit those already in a leadership role and requires the ability to deliver a strategic approach to business development and marketing that is balanced with exceptional operational delivery. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership capability which reflects on the way in which the team delivers its services and the relationship that you hold with key stakeholders in the business.

The successful candidate for this role will have a strong track record in a broad role to encompass business development, client relationship management, brand development and marketing communications. They will also be experienced in leading, developing and managing high calibre people in high performance BD teams which have made a measurable and positive impact on the business. This could have been gained leading a significant area of a firms business or leading BD & Marketing for an entire firm. We are very interested in speaking with candidates from within the legal sector but also keen to speak to individuals in the professional services market to include accountancy, property and consulting, and those in a commercial business looking to move across.

This is definitely a role in which you can have considerable impact and will play a key role in the firm’s ongoing development and growth.
