Reporting to the COO you will be responsible for leading the marketing and business development function at this £140m turnover law firm. This is a global position with overall responsibility for the team of regional marketing/BD professionals, covering London, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia. The role sits on the strategy board and represents an excellent opportunity to shape the firm’s future.
You will work closely with the firm’s leadership team to develop a strategic approach to business development and marketing, with overall responsibility for delivery of plans in line with the firm’s global objectives. You will lead the firm’s new brand programme and drive behavioural change in the way the firm goes to market and in its interactions with clients. You will take a lead on coaching partners’ in their approach to new business development and driving innovation in relation to pitching, pricing and new product development. You will oversee a communications strategy that builds the firm’s profile internally and externally, and improves the firm’s attraction in the recruitment market.
The role is particularly suitable for someone already in a leadership position within another legal or similar professional services business. You will have strong previous experience across all aspects of business development and marketing to include strategy, branding, client development and communications. Individuals with experience of working internationally and driving change on a global basis will be of particular interest.
