This leading and established IP firm recently hired a Chief Marketing Officer based in London, tasked with growing a business development and marketing function across their four national offices. The firm is fully committed and indeed excited about their new team, keen for experienced and driven professionals to guide them in business development. They’re keen for strategic direction and thus are looking for a Business Development Manager ideally to be based in either London or Manchester but they will also consider Bristol and Cambridge applicants.


A broad business development role, you will be taking a lead on the development of strategic BD and client plans for individuals and ‘champion’ groups of partners. You will have foresight and the ability to advise partners and encourage cross-selling, with strong processes so you can encourage and develop best practice.


The successful candidate will have experience ideally in a law firm if not an accountancy or property firm in a business development role. My client is happy to look at Senior Executive stepping up or at experienced managers looking to take ownership and have an impact on a firm’s BD. IP experience is not a prerequisite but you will be able to explain your interest in the sector at interview.
