My client is a fantastic City commercial firm with a focus on property, corporate and commercial, banking and finance, litigation and dispute resolution and private client. 

They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development specialist to play a key role in achieving their growth ambitions and move into new markets.  Reporting into the Executive Committee, this is a standalone role which will be client-facing.  It will be a real mix of managing existing clients and targeting new business in specific markets. There is a key client programme in place but they are open to this being reviewed and relaunched, and each group has a BD partner. The partners are very bought into BD and they need someone to work very closely with them, utilising their coaching and influencing skills to navigate their way through the firm and understand the key priorities.  There will be some marketing elements to the role as well, and it needs someone who is happy to be tactical as well as strategic.

This is a very proactive role which requires a self-starter.  You will be an established business development professional, already operating at manager level.  Previous legal experience is essential.
