Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a top 20 UK legal firm which has experienced significant headcount and revenue growth over the past few years. An opportunity has arisen for a new Pricing and Project Executive to join the Pricing team and support the Head of Pricing in delivering pricing related strategic and tactical projects. You will also support the Partners and Business Managers to prepare panel, transaction and solution based pricing proposals.

The main duties of the pricing and project executive will include working with the Partners and the bids team in relation to the pricing of work and client rate agreements and assisting Partners in understanding the financial and pricing levers in their respective areas. You will be a key pricing contact through provision of pricing support to the Global groups and sectors and will need to undertake financial modelling and scenario analysis to support pricing decisions as you become a trusted advisor to the business as part of the pricing, bid and matter lifecycle. The pricing and project executive will  provide project management expertise with the use of the firms matter management platform and conduct post completion reviews in relation to matter profitability by producing and interpreting financial information and analysis for departments, Partners and fee earners.

Applicants could be qualified accountants or have a significant legal pricing experience with a minimum 2 years in a similar pricing and commercial environment ideally within the legal or professional sector. You must be a proactive and innovative individual with a high level of computer literacy and MS Excel modelling capability is essential. The role requires an analytical and strategic approach and a high degree of commercial acumen with a strategic outlook.
