This international law firm is looking to recruit a Head of Practice Services to take responsibility for the delivery of a forward thinking, high quality and efficient practice support capability.

This is a high profile operational and strategic management role that will be responsible for a programme of continuous improvement for the firms’ multiple practice support services. Role responsibilities will include:   

  • Delivering an excellent practice support service to Partners and other internal stakeholders
  • Developing a culture of consistent improvement by leading and implementing change across culture, service and process
  • Ensuring that the teams goals and objectives are communicated and aligned to the firms overall strategy
  • Resource planning - ensuring that resources are being effectively used and anticipating and managing any issues with key stakeholders
  • Ongoing day to day performance management and development of the team

The successful candidate will have a track record in managing and delivering a fit for purpose practice support service within a legal or professional services environment.  A track record in delivering workflow efficiency and automation across business services is required as is strong interpersonal, budget management and analytical skills.
