This is a stunning opportunity to become a key part of a small, but incredibly successful and growing business.  Mactavish Group’s insurance policyholder services were launched five years ago by the CEO, Bruce Hepburn.   They are the UK’s leading expert on the reliability of insurance contracts.  They provide technical advisory services on insurance matters for a wide range of businesses across all industry sectors, including FTSE 100 and 250 companies to SME businesses and universities. Their client list is really impressive.  The services they offer are unique and they have no direct competitors.  Because of the level of expertise that they have, they are licensed by the Bar Standards Board of the Bar Council to instruct barristers directly for both contentious and pre-contractual legal work in the field of insurance.

The team is expanding and they are now looking for a third BD/Sales Manager to join the current team of two.  This role is to develop business through actively progressing existing and new prospects. The role includes cold calling/email, generating leads, as well as developing existing prospects and managing relationships to onsell new projects/services. The leads generated can take some time before they convert (anything up to a year), so this is about building long term relationships and then ongoing management of that client once they are on board.  The selling process requires a fairly significant investment from Mactavish and as such, they need someone who is smart, commercial and intelligent, who can understand the qualifying process and know when to drop leads/conversations when they look like they are not progressing. It’s a busy and high-pressured environment and they are driven by insurance renewal deadlines. It’s a fantastic and really different opportunity to get into a growing business that is not only the market leader but is creating the market in the first place. You will develop your own portfolio of clients and get real recognition and reward from an entrepreneurial and fast growing business.  The role also offers great flexibility including some working from home and travel to clients in the UK and overseas.
