Reed Smith is seeking an accomplished Human Resources leader to take on the role of HR Director EMEA.  HR within Reed Smith is a valued business service.  Talent is at the heart of how Reed Smith serves its clients and how the Firm has grown so significantly over the past 15 years.  The successful candidate will take on this leadership role at the point when the legal services industry is beginning to experience sustained change, much of which will affect people.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead the HR agenda in EMEA, deploying new initiatives, developing existing programmes and helping to manage the process of change.  The HR team in EMEA is a highly motivated and talented group who will look to the successful candidate to set the people agenda, to lead their professional and personal development, and to challenge them to continue to excel.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in leading high performing HR functions in complex matrixed environments where influence and persuasion are better tools than hierarchy.
