As head of business development at this leading European IP firm, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the firm’s marketing and business development activities. Managing a small team, you will ensure the growth and development of profitable business, and support partners and fee earners by providing them with the tools and knowledge to develop and maintain effective client relationships.

The role requires a ‘hands-on’ and collaborative approach in order to effectively embed best practice across the firm. You will be tasked with identifying and building processes, systems and tools to enhance efficiency in relation to business development, and ensure competitive advantage.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous business development experience within another IP firm, or have supported an IP or related practice within a law firm. You will have bags of ideas and credibility and a genuine desire to immerse yourself within the IP industry.
