This international law firm has a newly created opportunity for a Legal Project Manager. As a firm they are committed to finding innovative and efficient legal solutions and service delivery for its clients. Key to this is the firms Legal Project Management function which is growing its capability to help the firm in deliver ongoing value to both its clients and internal processes. 

Reporting into the Global Head of Legal Project Management your responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding legal teams through the Project Management process including scoping, planning, budgeting, executing and controlling the work, cost and resources on a matter.
  • Contributing to the discussions of engagement management strategy, goals and related deliverables.
  • Adapting Project Management tools and techniques to engagments and work with partners, legal staff and relevant business services personnel to create and monitor scope documents, staffing plans and budgets.
  • Continuously identifying improvements to the Legal Project Management processes and support the change management of implementing these processes.

This role requires strong project management expertise and the interpersonal skills, flexibility and pragmatism required to tailor Project Management techniques, tools and processes to meet the needs of legal project management. Ideally candidates will have experience of working in a law firm or professional services environment however other backgounds will be considered. A track record in delivering client/project management services to time and budget is required.
