My client, a global, award-winning law firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager for their industry leading Marine and International Trade group. One of the top and most established practices in their field, my client also boasts impressive growth in London and internationally, particularly over recent years. The Business Development Manager will lead the business development, client and marketing activity for the Marine and International Trade group across their international offices, with the support of the London and regionally based BD teams.


The BD Manager will be to go-to for the partner group; responsible for business development and client planning, developing new BD initiatives to raise the profile of the practice as thought leaders, and deliver winning pitches. The Business Development Manager will have strong project management skills, be excellent at building relationships, and have an interest in international trade finance.


My client is keen to find the best talent, so is open to considering experienced BD Executives looking for their first manager role, or managers keen to take full strategic ownership over a global group. The successful candidate will have extensive business development experience, and it is highly preferred that the experience is from the legal sector.
