As HR Business Partner you will act as the central point of contact for a dedicated Practice Group Head and head of Business Services in all HR matters affecting them and their employees.  This HR generalist role partners with nominated stakeholders to understand the specific needs and challenges of their business areas and delivers an HR service in line with those needs.

The HR Business Partner operates at multiple levels, ranging from handling sensitive day to day employee relations matters to understanding and interpreting strategic initiatives relevant to their nominated business area.

  • Organisation Development/change initiatives
  • Talent Management

Previous experience:

Essential:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • CIPD qualified
  • Strong experience gained in a generalist HR role
  • Experience of advising managers on employee relations matters such as discipline, grievance, performance management, sickness, absence and recruitment
  • Professional services (partnership) experience – law firm experience is highly desirable

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a global HR team
