This is a newly created role at an exciting time in the growth and development of this forward thinking law firm.  The role is key to help develop the firm’s thinking and drive forward some initiatives in Learning & Development, Culture Development and Change, Performance Development, Engagement & Inclusion.  The role provides the opportunity to really make a difference in these areas and help to embed new ways of working across the firm.

PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the firm's source of expertise on learning and development;
  • Act as lead and champion on a series of initiatives and efforts to influence the firm's culture, particularly around engagement and inclusion;
  • Influence senior stakeholders within the business on the value of investing in these areas;
  • Create and articulate a story of how these areas interlink and connect to drive cultural change;

REQUIREMENTS

  • A background in development, with good knowledge of current thinking in the areas of inclusion, engagement and culture;
  • Experience of managing complex projects including an exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders;
  • Ability to think commercially to provide the rationale and data driven insights into key initiatives; 
  • Significant experience of designing, implementing and managing change programmes;
  • A wide-reaching network and areas of interest to cover engagement, inclusion, and development;
  • Resilience, with the ability to adapt and shift focus as projects evolve;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once;
  • Previous experience of working in a partnership culture is preferable.
