This progressive international law firm has a newly created opportunity for a Programme and Project Delivery Lead to join the PMO team and take responsibility for both enterprise wide programme and project delivery as well as line management of a small team of programme and project managers.

Reporting to the Head of PMO the successful candidate will form part of a leadership team that is responsible for the ongoing successful monitoring and delivery of projects that are broad in range and include; business process improvements, business transformation and technology implementations.  

Working with the PMO leadership team responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the definition of programme/project scope and creating programme/project work plans and other key project documents as appropriate.
  • Establishing and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders for the programme/project
  • Managing the portfolio of programmes and projects on a day-to-day basis, including identifying risks, issues and dependencies and taking action to mitigate them to minimise impact on delivery.
  • Line managing the Programme and Project Delivery team

The successful candidate will have experience enterprise wide project implementations with a business focus; covering a broad range of technology and business change projects. In addition direct line management of project managers, experience in the procurement process and an understanding and experience of legal busines process in desired.
