Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a top 15 International Law firm and assist them in their search for a Global Pricing Analyst who will be a key member of the Global Pricing Team. Duties will include assisting with the preparation of global client and matter fee agreements, monitoring agreements and preparing analyses of pricing and profitability trends. The role will also involve working with the Global Pricing Committee and Senior Management in implementing and executing reporting to drive accountability for strategic pricing initiatives.

The main duties include assisting with preparation of global client and matter fee proposals, including historical financial analysis, modelling pricing scenarios and fee arrangements for clients and matters to formulate optimal pricing outcomes. You will maintain and centralise the pricing governance database including Global Pricing Committee approvals and win/loss metrics and assist with pricing and profitability performance reporting to identify trends and best practices. The Global Pricing Analyst will analyse and audit pricing activities from a financial compliance and operational controls perspective whilst also monitoring the execution of pricing approvals and existing matters by tracking profitability performance of hourly deals and alternate fee arrangements against budgets. You will report on pricing metrics at various stages of the transactions and identify business activities non-compliant with agreements and internal approvals and will assist with the development of the internal accountability environment and recommend solutions to help manage risks and controls.

Applicants must have experience in pricing ideally within the legal or professional sector. You must be organised and detail orientated with strong analytical and quantitative skills and a high level of computer literacy and MS Excel modelling capability is essential. The role requires an analytical approach and a high degree of commercial acumen with a strategic outlook and you must be a confident communicator who provides clear guidance and advice, both verbally and written, to internal clients including senior partners.
