This international law firm are looking for a client and legal project manager to take responsibility for defining and managing client facing projects within a designated practice group. The role is a management role and will lead to managing a team of Client and Legal Project Managers.

Working with a designated practice group the successful candidate will focus on ensuring that practice groups remain profitable through engagement with project management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating programmes of work within the Global Practice Group including within Practice Group Teams
  • Prioritisation of Practice Group’s Programme of projects/matters, analysing which projects/matters will attract full time professional project management support, project management support at strategic times of the project/matter and support of ad hoc project management advice
  • Analysing the Practice Group’s typical matter types and profitability per matter type to determine what resource should be allocated and where it should be allocated
  • Working with Pricing to ensure project/matter estimates are in line with Practice Group objectives

The ideal candidate will be a competent leader, must be able to understand business and change management needed at an enterprise level and will have experience of implementing complex projects working across multiple business functions, teams and geographies. 

We are keen to hear from project or programme managers.  A background in legal would be beneficial including lawyers.
