The role of HR Service Delivery Consultant is critical to this fast-paced global law firm and pivotal in delivering the people strategy. 

This role is responsible for delivering continuous improvements across a number of HR projects, end to end and supporting the implementation of the firm’s service delivery transformation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the delivery of the HR Services strategy
  • Accountability for efficient delivery of day to day HR operational processes.
  • Deliver continuous improvements to ensure effective & streamlined implementation of the firm’s system.
  • Ensure effective communication between HR Ops, the HR team and the business.
  • Programme manage process communications enhancements.
  • People management – (2 direct reports), and indirect responsibility for a team of 30.
  • Service delivery reporting.
  • Overall responsibility for payroll.

Skills and experience:

  • Programme mapping and continuous change management / improvement.
  • Experience of HR Systems such as HRIS, Workday or LMS is highly desirable.
  • Experience delivering simplification, automation and systems integrations.
  • Enhancing service delivery through teaming / stand-ups and escalations.
  • Stakeholder management including supplier / third party management.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong project management skills (Prince 2 qualified preferred but not essential).
  • Client and relationship-focused, possessing a range of personal impact and communication skills that will ensure credibility with the business, and HR colleagues.

  • Solutions focused - while maintaining necessary levels of risk awareness.
  • Ability to manage own and others' time effectively, and take accountability for actions while still maintaining a collaborative team environment.
  • The ability to work as part of a team within a very busy environment which has strict deadlines.
  • High standards of integrity and ethics, ability to maintain professional standards.
