The Role

The Head HR is an experienced HR Management professional who owns a regional team of 10+ (London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Germany). The role is equal parts player/coach and strategist. You will be responsible for shaping strategy, deploying global and local programming and in charge of measuring team and individual performances with metrics.

You will be responsible for the full running of the European and Asian lawyer HR functions who oversee the full lawyer “lifecycle”, from successful onboarding to working with the lawyers to manage their longer-term careers.

  • Demonstrable ability to coach, mentor, teach and develop others inside and outside of your organisational structure;
  • Ability to influence senior business stakeholders to inform commercially relevant outcomes
  • Develops strategies that show immediate benefit to the business as a whole;
  • The poise and maturity to interact with senior-level, highly experienced lawyers, including the confidence and sensitivity to deliver tough or constructive feedback;
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills;
  • High-level organisational skills, together with the ability to operate in an often high-pressure and fast-paced environment;
  • Commitment to innovation and efficiency, specifically within the legal services area;
  • Experience in the legal industry is preferred
  • Highly persuasive communication skills (both verbal and written)
