This innovative law firm have now grown to a size where they require a head of HR who will have overall responsibility for leading and managing the HR function within the firm.  This role also provides an opportunity to contribute to the firm’s strategic objectives and shape the HR agenda required to achieve these.  The Head of HR will be required to identify HR solutions and strategies and ensure that the HR team delivers HR initiates throughout the business.

This is a broad generalist HR role covering every aspect of the employee cycle to include; recruitment; performance management; ER; reward and talent development.

The successful candidate will have held a management position within an international partnership (ideally law firm) either operating as a senior business partner for a sizeable practice group or as Head of HR in a smaller partnership. They will possess a high degree of technical knowledge and will have demonstrated this on a practical level.  The candidate will have proven experience of working within an international environment.  A strong academic record is essential (minimum 2:1 degree).  Confident communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills – communicating with focus, clarity and simplicity. Strong consulting, influencing and negotiating skills.  Ability to drive and successfully implement organisational and cultural change.
