The firm is seeking to appoint a Head of Clients & Markets within its Business Development function. This is a key strategic advisory role and it is a very exciting opportunity to grow, develop and take the firm to market in a focused and innovative way.

You will lead the development of the client relationship and sector strategies and plans as well as the firm’s key client programme. This will include developing strategies to win new business and grow revenue and profitability.  You will also have responsibility for the firm’s client listening programme, ensuring this is implemented across all priority clients. As well as developing strong working relationships with the sector and practice groups, you will also lead and develop the Clients & Markets team and work collaboratively across the entire Business Development department.

The role requires an appetite to drive change and bring people together and high levels of leadership and credibility will be essential. Suitable candidates will have extensive business development sector and client relationship experience from working within a professional services organisation, with a proven track record of driving and delivering strategies and tactical initiatives that add value. Knowledge of the legal industry and the challenges facing it will be required, as will experience of managing a large team.
