This role will lead the bids team for this international law firm which has a strong focus on technology.  You will work with the wider business development team on the firm's strategic approach to bidding and pitching.

It's real mix of strategic input and tactical delivery and you will be responsible for the way the firm bids - the whole bid cycle from bid/no bid decisions, advising on approach and style, measuring win rates and return on investment, instilling and sharing of best practice as well as coaching the fee earners and debrief/follow up.  The firm has some really interesting clients and as such they will want someone who has a creative and innovative approach. 

Team management and development experience will be needed as well as a real commercial vision and genuine interest in what is happening in the wider international business environment. With a significant track record within bidding and pitching previously, you be adept at building strong relationships internally and externally, be able to grow an indepth understanding of the firm, its services and clients and possess very strong writing skills, project management skills, as well as a high attention to detail.
