This highly regards UK law firm is looking for a new Head of HR. As Head of HR you will deliver both value-add Business Partnering to the Firm and a fit for purpose Learning & Development strategy which drives forward the objective to meet development needs globally. You will maintain the high standard of service offered to the internal clients and to ensure the function grows and develops with business need.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  1. Influence, develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders; Team Leaders, Divisional Heads, Directors and Local Managing Partners to understand their key issues and objectives and provide commercial, solutions driven advice and guidance, in line with the Firm’s vision, delivered through the HR Business Partners.
  1. Identify new ideas and initiatives which assist the global Firm in achieving its objectives, by keeping up to date with the legal, insurance and HR markets and providing stakeholders with forward thinking HR solutions which will assist with the development of their business
  1. Drive through and deliver projects and initiatives, sanctioned by the Board, which will assist stakeholders in staying ahead of change and evolution of the legal and insurance markets and attracting and retaining top talent across the global business

The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities, capable of thinking outside the box and working with stakeholders to achieve their objectives. You will be flexible and nimble, with the ability to think and act under time sensitive pressure and have strong relationship building ability, coupled with excellent influencing skills. 

You will have operated at a senior level ideally within a law firm but wider partnership experience will also be considered.
