Totum Partners are delighted to be working with an elite global law firm who are looking for a Global Pricing Compliance Manager who will be responsible for review of all financial data being processed through the New Business Intake system. The role will require collaboration with the Pricing team, Inventory Managers, Matter Project Managers and Management to ensure that all matters are opened in accordance with applicable client fee agreements and with the relevant approvals in line with the Firm’s pricing guidelines. The role will involve the supervision of a team of three/four Global Pricing and Financial Compliance Analysts.

The main duties of the role include ensuring that all transactions are processed in accordance with Global Protocol and Policy and follow the standard Firmwide operational approach. The role will involve working with the Global Pricing Compliance Analysts to review and analyse any issues arising with data contained in the New Business Intake forms and address any issues that arise with the relevant internal stakeholders, e.g. additional approvals. You will work with the Data Control team to ensure that matter and client rates are set up correctly and monitor and maintain the client fee agreement database to ensure that fee agreements are accurately maintained.

The Global Pricing Compliance will be responsible for creating and developing a system to allow the evaluation of new client fee agreements and analyse the differences between proposed and existing client fee agreements. You will coordinate the set-up with conflicts for client/matter grouping and related clients in post-merger or buy-out instances and track, maintain and provide reporting for matters or matter groups with alternative fee arrangements. For example, contingencies, fixed fees, cap fees, deferred fees.

The ideal applicants should have some law firm exposure with managerial experience. You will need leadership and team building skills, ability to mentor, motivate, assess talent and manage effectively and have the ability to multi-task and work-well in high paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and oral are essential and you must have excellent interpersonal and team working skills, ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization.
