Our client is a leading London law firm based in the City. They are looking for an Office Account Cashier to work in the finance team alongside the Finance Manager and finance team for a 11-month maternity leave contract.

The ideal Office Account Cashier will be responsible for:

• Processing payments (CHAPs, Faster Payments & Cheques)

• Matching and processing receipts

• Checking and processing of Counsel fees and disbursements

• Preparation of bank reconciliations

• Maintenance and posting of direct debits and standing orders

• Cover for Client Cashier

• Cover for Billing Specialist

• Ad hoc duties as and when required by the Finance Manager/Director

• Posting recharges

• Posting Accounts Payable invoices

The ideal Office Account Cashier will have:

• Accounts Payable experience within a law firm

• Experience of billing is an advantage but not essential

• Strong communicator and team player

• Up to date knowledge of SARs

• Excellent attention to detail
