This is a newly created role for an international law firm reporting to the Global Head of Learning & Development (L&D).  The L&D Manager is responsible for all Associate, Trainee and Buiness Services learning & development globally, as well as overseeing the firm's mentoring schemes.  A key element of the role over the next 2-3 years will be leading the firm's preparations for the new SQE.

The L&D Manager will have join responsibility for managing an L&D Co-ordinator and an L&D Assistant and will have a degree of autonomy and scope to develop and improve existing programmes.  This role provides a great opportunity for someone to step-up to a more senior role and take on a new challenge within a growing and highly regarded team.  There will also be the opportunity for some travel, initially in Europe.

You will have gained previous experience in a learning & development role, ideally within a law firm or other partnership firm, and be a highly effective skills facilitator ad trainer. A coaching qualification would be advantageous.
