This opportunity is at a magic circle law firm and in one of the most sophisticated, established and impressive BD & Marketing legal teams in Asia. 


This is a client facing and strategic role working on value add activities, working closely with BD savvy Partners and collaborating with practice BD professionals.  You will manage a portfolio of key clients primarily, with some opportunity to spot trends and develop initiatives across the sector.

Who should apply?

This firm will most likely hire a law firm BD professional, though we are always open to speaking with those from other professional services backgrounds.  

International experience gained in the UK, Australia or US will be viewed favourably due to the progressive nature of law firm BD in those markets.

This is a great opportunity to use your transferable BD & Marketing skills to take a different direction in your career.  What's rare about a role like this in the HK market is that you don't need to have been in a CRM role before, you don't need Banking/FS experience and Chinese language skills are not required.

You do need to be a talented BDM with some experience in client development as part of your role and able to show a natural aptitude for this.  (Though established CRMs will of course be happily considered.)  You will also have a genuine interest in Banking/FS and immersing yourself in that sector.  It is also important that you be commercially minded and client centric in your approach.  Your influencing and relationship building skills will add value.
