Meet the team
Laura heads up Totum’s specialist HR team which recruits across all disciplines that sit in this area such as Recruitment, Learning & Development, Reward and HR Operations.
Personally, Laura recruits senior roles into this function as well as playing a key role in the recruitment of broader positions in general management (for example Directors of Administration, Chief Operating Officers, Heads of Operations, Business Managers and Practice Managers).
Laura has over 15 years’ experience in recruitment, most of which has been focused on the legal and professional services sector. She has enjoyed watching firms adopt more specialist and sophisticated roles to enable them to succeed in an increasingly competitive market. She prides herself on the great personal relationships she has built up over many years that transcend boundaries. In an area where clients often become candidates (and vice versa), there is no ‘us’ and ‘them’; it is working in partnership that counts most.
Laura relishes working in a sector that can offer talented HR and General Management candidates the real opportunity to make a difference. As HR and General Management professionals have proved their value at the highest levels, Totum’s team has enjoyed seeing many of the candidates placed into these roles develop into some of the most senior leadership roles in the professional services sector – including that of Chief People Officer/HR Director and COO.
Prior to joining Totum, Laura worked at Frazer Jones where she managed a team focused on the recruitment of senior-level HR professionals into law firms and other professional services teams.
