BD & Marketing recruitment is nearly as busy as it was pre-pandemic. But what are the latest recruitment trends in terms of people, roles, expectations and job opportunities?

55 per cent of Totum’s roles were in BD & marketing – so although recruitment undoubtedly slowed since the beginning of the pandemic – recruitment for BD & marketing roles has held up well.
Despite the third lockdown and wondering if a ‘normal life’ will resume in the foreseeable future, Joanna and Georgia discuss the areas of marketing that are seeing an increase in new roles, not just business critical ones. They also discuss how salaries may have been impacted, and the massive transformation of thinking around flexible working, which is good news for both firms and candidates. ESG is notably high on the agenda for firms but Joanna and Georgia are also noticing it is high on candidates’ agendas too.
