Totum Foundation

Totum’s Foundation aims to provide funds, resources and support to help individuals and organisations across employability, education, health and the environment

We are a small business compared to some, but our influence extends wide – we know we can play our part in improving people’s lives, making a positive difference to individuals and our wider community.

The Foundation’s vision is to:

  • Support the development of people and help them reach their full potential
  • Support our chosen charities voted for by our employees
  • Make a positive environmental impact

Totum Bursary

We believe that the firms that thrive are those with the most diverse team

That’s why we work so hard to source the best talent from the broadest pool possible. We support a student, or students, to get to, or remain at, University who wouldn’t otherwise be able to do so; or help someone who may need financial support starting their career in a business services role aligned to one of our functional areas.

We want to do more to help people from all backgrounds thrive at work; improving socio-economic diversity in the workplace is important to us alongside our other diversity and inclusion initiatives.

We work with Social Mobility Business Partnership who are committed to supporting students from low income backgrounds in their pursuit of a career in business. For more details on how to apply to our Bursary Scheme.

Our Charity Partners

Totum Foundation are working with three charities as part of a long-term partnership

We have committed to working with these three charities:

These have been chosen by our team as charities that closely align with Totum’s purpose, values and goals. They will be our focus for long-term partnership as well as one-off fundraisers including a 100km London to Brighton Ultra Challenge.

As part of our Refer a Friend scheme, we will also donate £50 to one of these charities with every placement we make.

For now and the future

Totum are committed to making a positive environmental impact

As a business highly engaged with our community and wider society, we are also keenly aware of our legacy and the positive impact we can have on the next generation in terms of mitigating the risks of climate change. 

We have ambitions to reduce our carbon footprint and make a positive environmental impact. In 2023, we partnered with a reforesting company to plant 20,288 trees, enough to offset the footprint of 2,140 houses  in their lifetime.  

In the year ahead, we will be furthering such initiatives and will report back on progress.
