The Timewise Power 50

We are delighted to announce that one of our Founding Directors Deborah Gray has been recognised in the latest Timewise Power 50 awards. The Power 50 lists those who manage to achieve everything they do in their senior roles while working part-time or flexibly (Deborah works four days a week). The award reflects Totum’s approach to thinking creatively about using flexibility to support talent attraction and retention both for our clients and for our own team. With good business services candidates in law in short supply, we know how important it is to think differently about ways in which we work – offering more flexible options is an important way to stand out as an employer (and indeed recruiter) of choice. The Timewise Power 50 awards are now in their seventh year, with the 2019 list including 10 men who work part time or flexibly, the highest number so far. At Totum, we fully embrace the ethos that senior roles can be achieved on a more flexible basis, and that part-time working is not solely the preserve of mothers. It is up to all of us to make our workplaces more diverse and flexible for all – and to role model what that means in practice. Well done Deborah!
